Florida Behavioral Risk Factor Data
The 2002 County Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) survey was
conducted among adults in Florida from September 2002 through January 2003.
Overall, 34,551 adults were randomly selected and interviewed for the survey;
about 500 adults were surveyed in each county. The purpose of this survey was
to obtain county-level estimates of the prevalence of personal health behaviors
that contribute to morbidity and mortality.
